Branch Interest Groups

Brown Bag ‘n’ Book Group: Join us the second Tuesday of each month,
12:30-2:30 p.m., for a lively and friendly discussion of the book of the
month. Members read and nominate books during the summer
months. Bring a bag lunch or just an appetite for discussing books!

Dine Out: Members take turns hosting a monthly dine-out experience.
Restaurants are selected by the hostess of the month. Both couples
and singles are invited to share the good food and fellowship. Contact:

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Members will select at least three
activities per year (e.g., read and discuss a book, attend an event or
presentation, etc.) to build and expand their own knowledge and plan
at least one activity to engage other branch members. Contact: Debra

Friday Party Bridge: Third Friday of the month game is not duplicate,
but uses Chicago scoring. Our small fees go to selected AAUW branch
scholarship programs. We are open and looking for new players!

Round Robin Bridge: Open to non-members as well as members, play
monthly September to May with your favorite partner. If you don’t
have a partner, we’ll help you find one. We all meet together in June
to socialize, play more bridge, enjoy snacks, and win prizes. Proceeds

Watercolor Painting: Join us the third Saturday of the month 2:00-4:30
pm. We guide beginners to experts and enjoy the views outside the
kitchen window! Location: Sherill’s house. Contact: Sherill Atkins,
Delfina Medina.

Everyone is invited to join. Choose the group(s) that interest you and
contact the corresponding group chairperson to get started!

We welcome new interest groups. Got an idea for one? Send your
proposal to the newsletter editor so it can be presented to the
membership and then talk about your idea at a meeting. We all have
