AAUW San Luis Obispo is planning a mix of virtual platform Zoom meetings and in-person

Branch Meetings

Saturday, September 7th, 10:00 am – in person – Opening & Welcome Back Meeting – Our 2024 Tech Trek campers will share their stories and future plans, and the programs planned for the year and interest groups will be presented. Location: Laguna Mobile Estates Clubhouse Annex.
Monday, October 7, 7:00 pm – via Zoom – Hear a timely and balanced presentation by the
League of Women Voters on the California state propositions on the November ballot.
Friday, November 14, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm – in person – Join us for Happy Hour at SLO House of Bread Farmhouse for our branch fundraiser. Location: SLO House of Bread Farmhouse, 1025
Farmhouses Lane, San Luis Obispo.
Saturday, December 14th, 10:00 am – in person – Come celebrate at our Holiday Social where
we will also assemble Care and Comfort Gift Bags for CAPSLO. Location: DD’s Home
Saturday, January 25, 7:00 pm – via Zoom – Join with the Five-Cities/Pismo Beach Branch for a
presentation by Sophia Zekria, Afghan refugee and founder of Kor Kitchen. Location: TBA
Monday, February 10th, 7:00 pm (via Zoom) – Hear presentations from our Cuesta College and Cal Poly Scholarship recipients.
Saturday, March 8th, 10:00 am – in person — In honor of Women’s History Month, we will
have a special speaker presentation. (Topic and Location TBD)
Saturday, April 12th, 10:00 am – in person – Join Jeff Parham and Ed Lysek from the Five Cities
Orchid Society in an engaging discussion about orchids. This is a joint meeting with AAUW
Morro Bay. Location: Fellowship Hall at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 545 Shasta, Morro Bay.
Monday, May 12th, 7:00 pm – via Zoom – Hear presentations from our High School Scholarship recipients.
Saturday, June 7th, 10:00 am – in person – Officer Installation and End of Year Party! Review!
Recognition! Revelry! (Location TBD)

Board Meetings are open to all members. They are generally held on the first Monday of the
month via Zoom and are scheduled as listed below.
